Education Director Kate Heffernan introduces the opening sequence of all classic Vinyasa or flow classes. In this training session, you will first practice a classic Vinyasa paying attention to the sequence and structure of the class. Kate will then break down and analyze the sequence, explaining the purpose and essential elements of Surya Namaskar A and B, offering observations on common misalignment of poses, as well as introducing modifications for these postures. This session also introduces key components of good teaching including teaching from the ground up an teaching with oppositional actions.
